Your first football boots
With screw in studs.
Mine were Stylo Matchmakers what dirty Leeds used to wear in the 70's. Pretty sure they make them To This Day, as D Wilder would say.

Re: Your first football boots
My first boots had nailed in studs and toe straps and hard toes. No brand name but probably bought from Batas on East Ham High Street North. The first pair of "Continental" style boots - cut below the ankles with a name was a pair of "Tommy Docherty's" purchased from the Departmental Store can't remember its name (anyone) on Green Street

Boots that made you feel that the studs were screwing their was into your feet aside, I've never had a pair that made any difference to my game.

I'm far more important than my boots.

As is everybody

Re: Your first football boots
I had mitre rugby boots to do both (the ones that had the raking stud in the toe and steel toecaps).
Was always a complete clodhopper at football and they didn't help one bit.

Re: Your first football boots
Why would anyone remember the brand ? All I recall is banging the mud out against the wall and the magic that they created on the pitch. No idea who made them, sorry.

Re: Your first football boots
I think they were mitre, they had hard toe caps and as a striker I remember scoring a fair few with a toe punt that Vic Watson would be proud of. Then bought a pair of these beauties
